Our Story

Welcome to Betuzas Coffee Cafe, where you will be able to get Specialty Coffees, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dessert Items. Betuzas offers dine-in, drive-thru, and online purchasing. Betuzas is a family owned business. By the Johnson family who are local to the RGV Valley. With a dream to open their restaurant and support their family by working for themselves. The Johnsons want to offer a great family atmosphere and an easy approach to specialty coffees for the City of Elsa, TX, and all of its customers. Please stop by and check out our menu with a blend of Hispanic Classic dishes and some Midwest dishes along with all of our great specialty beverages. Our Coffee is specifically selected from farms in Columbia and Mexico and then roasted locally to the specifications of Betuzas. This gives the best flavor as we only use freshly roasted beans. We look to add some of the best flavor ingredients we can get our hands on. This means we use Italian flavorings and Swiss chocolates in all of our traditional espresso and coffee drinks. We look to add a Hispanic flavor to many of our drinks as well. This means adding raw brown sugar and cinnamon flavors to our coffees and even offering horchata-based coffee drinks. Please stop by and see what truly crafted coffee is like.

Other Drinks. We look to offer our community a wide variety of drinks. This means fresh squeezed local citrus juice is used in many drinks for peak flavor. We look to offer premium Teas that we bring in from all over Asia for an experience you can get anywhere else. We offer other Asian treats like boba and other milk teas. Then for all of our refresher drinks, we use only fresh perium ingredients for a healthy and refreshing treat.

Breakfast, We look to offer a full traditional cafe experience to our customers. Which means you have to have a quality breakfast. Every time a customer orders a taco or a plate it means that eggs are getting cracked! for the best flavor. We are a truly scratch made kitchen, we bake our bread, we make our own sauces and salsas, an cook fresh raw tortillas for each order. Lunch and Dinner, Betuzas offers it all including a Lunch and Dinner Menus. So if you need a quick quality lunch that’s not just burgers and fries, stop by our drive thru or place a order online. Once again we a are a scratch cooked kitchen, this means fresh sauces and salsa made each day, meat prep with love and care for the best flavor, fresh sliced fruits and vegetables.

Sweets, Betuzas offers a wide variety if house made pastries. From a quick morning grap of a warm muffin with real blueberries inside. Then you can get classic cookies and brownies too. We also offer a mexican classic pastry of empanadas in many flavors.
